Cunera Vlaar is the CEO of Sodexo Netherlands, a world leader in delivering sustainable food service and valued experiences in over 50 countries.

Cunera grew up as the daughter of a farmer in the northern Netherlands. She still lives there, close to her family, actively involved in the family farm. 

With over 20 years of experience in food & facility management, she has held several international leadership positions amongst others in the marine and offshore business. Before taking the role of CEO Sodexo Netherlands in 2023 she held the position of CEO Energy & Resources Europa.

Cunera is known for her strategic vision and passion for mentorship and team building.

As a devoted advocate of diversity and inclusion in the workplace she is an active sponsor of the SoTogether advisory board which drives the global gender equality strategy of Sodexo.
