Meet the KPMG Meijburg & Co's experts about Prinsjesdag
In partnership with KPMG Meijburg & Co on the theme: "Prinsjesdag and the main features taken by the government for 2020 ".
On September 27th, 4 experts from KPMG Meijburg & Co gave our members a very insightful presentation from a tax/legal perspective about the upcoming measures that will be set by the government in 2020 or 2021.
First, Jurgen Stormmesand, Partner People Services, presented the changes in payroll taxes focusing on the differences between permanent contract and flexible contract, the work related costs rules and the private use of company electric cars.
Then, Michael van Gijlswijk, Tax Partner, focused his presentation on the main features of the 2020 Tax Plan, amongst others on the tax rates that will be applied and the amendment of the liquidation loss regime.
Marlies Baijer, Senior Tax Manager, provided us with great information about the Withholding tax Act 2021 on interest and royalties and the current developments on Substance requirements .
To end this breakfast seminar session, Bernard van Gerrevink, Senior Tax Manager and Head of the French desk at KPMG Meijburg & Co, spoke about the Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive 2 (ATAD 2) and more general trends on anti-abuse and public debate on paying taxes. By providing us with different case examples, we got a better understanding of the ATAD’s impact on companies.
After the questions and answers, our guests could leave with a P.E Certificate conferring them of 1,5 P.E hours.
We would like to thank again Bernard van Gerrevink as well as the other speakers and KPMG Meijburg & Co for hosting this event and sharing their knowledge with our members.
