New Year's Cocktail | Air France-KLM
On 13 January, we celebrated 2025 with a memorable cocktail party, organised in collaboration with Air France-KLM at an iconic venue.
An event under the banner of collaboration and Europe
The cocktail party brought together key figures in Franco-Dutch relations in an exceptional setting. Guests of honour included Anne-Marie Couderc, Chairman of the Board of Air France-KLM, Marjan Rintel, CEO of KLM, and François Alabrune, French Ambassador to the Netherlands.
Air France-KLM, an inspiring example of Franco-Dutch cooperation
The speeches given by Anne-Marie Couderc and Marjan Rintel highlighted the fundamental role played by Air France-KLM in strengthening the economic ties between our two countries. For over 20 years, the group has made a significant contribution to our economies, generating €70 billion in added value every year and supporting 820,000 jobs.
Beyond the impressive figures, the emphasis was on the importance of European unity in meeting global challenges. A strong, competitive and innovative Europe is essential if we are to face up to international competition and respond to environmental challenges.
Air France-KLM continues to be a pioneer in its commitment to more sustainable air transport. The Group is now the leading user of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) in Europe, a concrete step towards decarbonising the sector. This is a perfect example of how collaboration and innovation can accelerate the energy transition.
A big thank you to all our participants!
This memorable evening was an opportunity to celebrate the start of 2025 in a festive and convivial atmosphere. It was also an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of Franco-Dutch partnerships in building a common, prosperous and sustainable future.
Our warmest thanks go to Air France-KLM for their exceptional welcome, and to our members and partners for their support. Together, we have paved the way for a year of cooperation and innovation.
