The Grand and initiators of COVID Sneltestpunt join forces to stimulate testing

Fast, reliable, safe and preventive. From now on, hotel guests, Amsterdam locals, entrepreneurs and their employees could test at The Grand

The Grand is the first hotel in Amsterdam that puts a space at its disposal to facilitate a COVID-19 test point. The test point will open its doors on Monday April 12th in one of the Canal House suites of the hotel. The Canal House suite can be entered through a private entrance at the back of the hotel and can thus guarantee the safety of other hotel guests and the employees of The Grand.

By opening the test point, The Grand hopes to contribute to the recovery of society. Emmy Stoel, General Manager of The Grand, says: “The Grand strives to become the safe place where people are able to meet safely again. By transforming one of the Canal House suites into a test point, we want to create an ideal and even safe place for hotel guests to stay.”  The Grand will offer various packages, such as a Test & Rest package, in order to appeal to international travellers. Antigen rapid tests at The Grand will be available from the April 12th onwards and test results will be received within 30 minutes.
A child-friendly version of this antigen rapid test is also available. In addition to the antigen rapid tests, PCR rapid tests will also be performed at The Grand shortly. The results of the upcoming PCR tests will be received by email the same day.
