Opening of new classes at the International French School
The International French School of Amsterdam has announced the opening of two new classes for the start of the 2024 school year.
The school is renowned for its international environment, with pupils currently coming from 40 different nationalities. Fluency in French is not required to join the school, thanks to a language support programme designed for non-French-speaking pupils.
A second class will now be available for:
- Petite Section, for 3-year-olds (born in 2021),
- Cours Préparatoire, for 6-year-olds (born in 2018).
This expansion aims to accommodate more international pupils while maintaining an enriching educational environment.
A new director
Séverine Fougerol has been appointed Director of the International French School of Amsterdam. With international experience in North America and Asia, she brings an enriching perspective to the school.
About the IFS
The International French School of Amsterdam offers integrated schooling from kindergarten (from the age of 2) to high school and is recognised by the French Ministry of Education.
