Creation of a French secondary school in Amsterdam on September 2018: fundraising
The foundation "A French College in Amsterdam" was created on June 2017 to support the creation of a French secondary school in Amsterdam. Its target is to offer a continuity of the French curriculum after elementary school and up to the baccalaureate, with the accreditation of the French Ministry of National Education.
The foundation is supported by experts who already contributed to the creation of French schools abroad: Turenne Consulting. It is also supported by the Ambassador of France in the Netherlands, Mr. Philippe Lalliot and the General Consulate of France, Ms. Anne Genoud.
The main goal is now to secure founds so the School can open on September 2018.
The foundation is therefore actively seeking financial sponsors to raise € 400,000 to cover the following expenses:
- Rental, renovation and upgrade of premises that can accommodate the school;
- Salaries of the principal and teachers;
- Furniture and equipment;
- Pre-opening costs and operating expenses.
Two sponsors, including The Student Hotel, have already agreed on sponsoring the project. Each donation provides benefits including tax deduction through the foundation's ANBI status, or visibility of the sponsor's brand through the foundation communications.
