New Member - REGOM

REGOM is a company developing sorting solutions for end-of-life tyres, especially with MTP-TRI, its first semi-industrial sorting machine. Strong from its belonging to the french group TC-Transports, also an end-of-life tyre (ELT) collector for the ecoorganism Aliapur, they learned to build and develop reliable solutions responding to current problematics for the sorting of ELT.

With the help of their innovative processes, the refining of sorting, and the optimization of ELT valorization, REGOM wants to revolutionize the sector and improve the working conditions for recyclers.

MTP-TRI was first created to simplify the work of ELT collectors and sorters. Thanks to its simple and adaptable settings, it is also possible to configure MTP-TRI so it corresponds to the specific characteristics of retreaders, granulators, and second-hand tyre sellers.

The machine can analyze the tyre brand, profile, and dimensions as well as calculate its weight and the measurement of the remaining thread in only 3 seconds. The goal? Orientate tyres semi-automatically to the right valorization exit and/or the right client while collecting a maximum of data to simplify the operations.

To optimize the utilization of the data generated by the machine’s artificial intelligence, REGOM  has designed and developed a software suite to facilitate the management of tyres before their valorization. Those tools allow also the search refinement for qualified reusable tyres, to simplify their return on the market and the extent of their lives.

In addition to the commercialization of their machine and software, REGOM wishes to promote the reuse of second-hand tyres. This work is achieved through their active participation to French and European working groups on tyre quality and control subjects.

Establishing positive communication about the reuse of second-hand tyres is important to do towards individuals and companies to change consumption modes, buying habits but also to reassure the consumer about the quality of the products.
